I've been
teaching sewing for over 15 years now. I have a degree in Home Economics with an
emphasis in Fashion Design/Merchandising from California State University,
Northridge. When in college I used to say, "I want to promote home sewing!" and
all my classmates would look at me like I was nuts. I learned to sew as a child,
starting out with mumus for my Barbie dolls. When I was a freshman in high
school, I took my first sewing class and fell in love with my sewing machine. It
was such a thrill to take a piece of fabric, cut it up and sew it into something
to wear. I thought everybody should be doing this and they'd love it as much as
I do. My goal is to make sewing fun for you. Don't sweat the mistakes, we can
take care of those. Just enjoy the process...I'm not grading you like you were
back in the days of High School Home Ec. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN!
